Wordle Type Brain Breaks

These puzzles allow teachers and students to take a quick break while still exercising their minds Wordle - The word game that started it all Quordle - When one puzzle is not enough, you can do four at the same time. Crosswordle - This one allows you to create (click the gear) and share simple custom puzzles  Worldle  - My Favorite - This game shows you a silhouette of a country and you need to name it using directional clues. This works great when paired with printed atlases.  Nerdle - Find the Math equation Numbele  - Find the Math equation Histordle - After you receive 3 history clues, can you find the year?  Lordle of the Rings - OK sorry this one is only for J.R.R. Tolkien fans. Yes, there is even a Star Wars one. Heardle - Warning: This one might not always be school appropriate. How good are you at recognizing songs and artists?

  Mote - allows you to add audio to Google Forms .  Students can hear your sound bytes even if they don't have the extension installed. If you want students to record an answer they need the extension installed.  Cons:  You only get 20 recordings a month.  30-second limit How you can use it: Ask questions in another language Have students translate and give their responses orally  Read questions Give instructions Improve Accessibility At the beginning of the year have students pronounce their names so you can get the pronunciations correct  Support ELL students
